Neil graduated in law in 1985 and entered legal practice until 1995 in London. In total Neil has been involved with or led teams that have transacted around $5bn in capital placed and transactional work. Away from the office Neil remains very active in his pursuit of martial arts and karate in particular.

Ellis & Fairbairn lawyers: 1985 – 1995; During legal practice Mr. Jeram rose to partner level and was involved in a wide spectrum of commercial property related work including acting for clients who acquired major British shopping malls and CRE with total values transacted were in excess of $1bn.

Jeram Partners: 1995 to 2016 Mr. Jeram established a private consultancy that was based out London manage funds flow from offshore centers (South Africa in particular) into UK real estate investments structured through trusts established in the Channel Islands. Total transactional value was in excess of $1bn and invested into assets as diverse as residential multi family units through to regional shopping centres in the UK.
This continued into Australia following his migration there in 2003. Notable transactions included: -

* - Establishment and management from 2004 -7 of the Sydney offices for a NZ based real estate investment firm with the development of tax advantaged structures for offshore buyers.

* - Placement of equity investment in 2011 (circa$250M) for an agricultural enterprise establishing palm oil planation's in Papua New Guinea; placement of investment equity for resources projects secured against endowments in Queensland ($300M)

* - Establishment of the Sterling Managed Investment Trust to facilitate the progression and launch of Project ZX I
